Evening Entertainment is generally available in the Balavil Hotel and
Glen Hotel (Fridays).

Midsummer Newtonmore 2005
Concert by Saor Patrol -
a vibrant display of piping and drumming bringing the music and costume of the past to life
Newtonmore Village Hall 8.30pm to 10.30pm

followed by
Overnight Walk of the Spectacular 7 mile Wildcat Trail
(walk begins at 10.45pm)
Overnight walk - wear stout footwear; bring waterproof clothing and a torch with full battery.
There will be a full moon, but it might be cloudy! There is no charge for the walk, but donations toward the upkeep of the trail would be much appreciated

HOGMANAY 2005
The great Newtonmore Hogmanay Houlie
Now a regular fixture on the calendar - join in the craic, watch the fireworks, sample the Stag's Breath - and don't miss the torchlit procession, with pipers - from 11.15pm on Hogmanay (31st December for the uninitiated!)
Torchlit procession starts from outside either the Glen Hotel or the Balavil Hotel, led by pipers to the Golf Course for free Stag's Breath whisky liqueur and shortbread, followed by the fireworks display - donations welcome - recommended £3 adult, £1.50 child
Long lasting torches will be available for purchase at the Tourist Information Centre in Newtonmore Craft Centre & Gallery from 27th December, price £3
