Alvey House

AlveyAlvey House was built in 1901 for a Victorian Merchant and sits in a acre of garden ground on a tree studded promontory with views across the Spey River Valley to the Cairngorm and Grampian Mountains. Alvey is a five minute walk from the Village Centre of Newtonmore with its Hotels, Restaurants, Bars and shops.

With its off street parking, Sun lounge, Residents Lounge and Licensed Dining Room to compliment the seven en-suite Bedrooms Alvey makes the perfect base from which to explore the region with all its attractions.

Wether you prefer Continental or Traditional we will ensure you have the breakfast you need to start your day. If required, Dinner is prepared from the finest local ingredients, and our well stocked cellar offers a good choice of wines, spirits and beers. To end the day the lounge, with its open fire for those chilly evenings, makes the ideal place in which to relax in convivial company with a cup of tea or a dram of whisky.
