Imagine, if you will, that you can draw a rough circle round the Highlands of Scotland. If you were to do that, you'd find Newtonmore almost exactly at the centre of that circle. We are also, officially, the Centre of Scotland.
Inverness and the attractions on the Moray coast are an hour or so away, Fort William, some 90 minutes and Pitlochry is about 35 minutes to the south.
Even the Eastern side of the Cairngorm National Park, Braemar, Ballater and Tomintoul can be visited in a very picturesque day's drive.
Just think of the convenience of being able to explore all these places in addition to everything that is on our doorstep, without having to re-pack and unpack your suitcases. Sheer bliss!!
