This ambitious project aims to build a much needed community facility for use of everyone in Badenoch, to be sited in King Street / Spey Street, Kingussie. The building will incorporate the existing St Andrew's Church and Victoria Hall, with these buildings linked by a new large sports hall.

The plans envisage a four court games hall, climbing wall, weights room, fitness room, dance hall, meeting room, youth wing, art rooms, cafe, art gallery, changing rooms, first aid room, technology room and soft play area.
The Badenoch Community Centre will make a tremendous difference to the area by bringing better sports and community facilities to our community, for present and future generations. it is envisaged that the project may be built before the turn of the century...
BUT...
to get the project off the ground, the community need to raise £200,000, in order to secure the balance of funding from the various grant providing bodies who will assist. A considerable sum has already been raised and many people have chosen to join in with the project's innovative 'buy a brick' scheme. For only £50, you can have your name permanently engraved onto a brick in the community centre. If the project does not go ahead, your money will be returned. In this way, many individuals can make a personal contribution to the good of the Community, and have their contribution recognised for all time. The scheme is only available to individuals - not families, OR companies, though the community project welcomes donations from any sources - contact the project if you feel you might like to help.
