Purpose built in, 1991, Newtonmore Hostel is at the rear of Craigellachie House, believed to be the oldest house in the village.
Our bunk bedded rooms can accommodate 12 persons and are split 2, 4 and 4, with the capacity for an extra person in the larger rooms if necessary. There are three toilets and showers, a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge area with wood burning stove, and of course, a super drying room.
We also have plenty of dry secure overnight storage for bikes.
Standard price is £18 per person per night, though exclusive use of rooms may cost slightly more.
You can book the entire hostel from £120 per night. Everything is included in the price, heating, hot water, firewood, even tea and coffee.
And if you cannot bear to be parted from the internet, we throw in free wifi as well.
We have parking for up to five cars, but if you arrive under your own steam there's a £1 per night reduction.
We love dogs, (we have three "rescue" lurchers) and if possible we will allow them in the hostel though it is normally only practical where the hostel is booked out to a single group.
