EARLY CLOSING - On Wednesdays and Saturdays the Post Office closes at 1.00 pm. Main Supply closes at 1pm on Saturdays.  

Refuse Collection
Domestic bins are emptied on Wednesdays. Paper/Tins and Garden Waste for recycling are collected separately on alternate Tuesdays. The local Council infill site is at Grainish, just North of Aviemore. There is a recycling point for bottles, cans and paper at the car park in Glen Road.

Newtonmore Village Hall - The hall is host to many activities and provides lets for bowling, badminton, playgroup, drama group, dances, sales of work and many other events. Croileagan Bhaideonach - (Gaelic Playgroup) A playgroup which encourages use of the Gaelic language and meets in the Village Hall in the mornings during school term.

Comann Nam Parant (Bhaideonach) - Group of parents of schoolchildren taking Gaelic medium education classes.

Newtonmore Camanachd Club -

Newtonmore Bowling Club - Situated overlooking the Golf Course, the Bowling Club is open all week, has Club competitions on Wednesday evenings and Saturday afternoons and competes in a District League. Season - 1st Saturday in May to the end of September.

Newtonmore Indoor Bowling Club - The Club meets in the Village Hall on Tuesdays and Thursdays, both afternoon and evening from the start of October until April.

Newtonmore Tennis Club - Recently re-furbished to the highest standard, the 3 courts in Golf Course Rd are all weather.

Newtonmore Curling Club
Indoor season is from October till March currently on various Wednesdays Pitlochry, with Province League matches being on Friday evenings at Inverness Ice rink. Outdoor curling also takes place when conditions are suitable.

Highland 4x4 Club
