A
warm friendly welcome awaits you here at Crubenbeg Holiday Cottages - an
idyllic and ideal location for your holiday or short break in the Heart
of the Highlands.
Lovingly converted and modernised in 1990 from sturdy farm buildings
that have stood on this site for over 200 years, each of our 8
comfortable, luxury cottages enjoys stunning views of the surrounding
magnificent mountains and majestic valleys.
You'll
find us some 4 miles south of the picturesque village of Newtonmore and
just 2 minutes off the A9, making it easy for you to explore this
outstanding area. Monarch of the Glen Country is on our doorstep, as are
the superb Highland Folk Museum, 2 excellent golf courses and the new
Mountain Bike Centre at Laggan.
Close
at hand is everything that the Cairngorms national park has to offer -
mountains, heather moors, forests and estates, rivers and peaceful
glens, the abundant wildlife, walking, climbing, cycling and, of course,
skiing. Also in easy reach are Whisky Distilleries, the RSPB Osprey
Centre, Horse Riding, Pony Trekking, Watersports and Off-roading, to
name but a few other activities. |

The
Cottages
We have a total of 8 lovely cottages, nestling round a peaceful
courtyard at the foot of Crubenbeg Hill. With a choice of 1,2 or 3
bedrooms, we're sure to have a cottage that meets your needs.
Regardless of size, every cottage is roomy, beautifully decorated and
comfortably equipped with quality furnishing and every facility that you
need to make your stay with us an enjoyable one. |
 |
|
Individual heating, a living flame gas fire for those chilly winter's
evenings, colour TV, radio, hairdryer and microwave form just part of
our standard list of equipment as do all the bed linen and towels that
you'll need for your stay. |
|
One of
our one-bed cottages has been carefully developed to meet the needs of
guests with mobility difficulties or who need wheelchair access and has
been awarded a category 2 grading.
Outside
each cottage is ample parking and, in the grounds, you'll find our games
room, laundry, barbeque and children's play area, together with our
fabulous large pond, home to Rainbow Trout and to our resident families
of ducks. |
 |
|
You are
also more than welcome to bring your pet with you and we can also
provide a cot, high chair and baby bath for the newest member of your
family. |

How
Much Does All This Cost?
Not as much as you might think!

outstanding value for money.
Our
